I'm working on my interpretation of a game like "Crayon Physics" and I'm utilizing Chipmunk for the physics part. The engine features full support of multiple CPUs (cores), where chipmunk runs on it's own core. You can find a video of the current progress here. I must say, that Chipmunk is by far the best physics engine for 2D games currently available. I'm curious about the next release.
That's ridiculous! Once I get ChipmunkXNA up and running, I'm going to have to see what it takes to make something like that. I won't have anywhere near the presentation value, but dang. That's so nice looking. Nice work.
Good greif thats neat. How are you doing the ropes? Are the links carefully arranged to not overlap, or did you come up with some way to make a "solid" rope that allows overlapping links?
