hi,
i like to say excellent library! You will be saving me countless amount of hours in development of games i want to create.
I'm having a lot of issues in trying to get static objects to provide a force... and understand what this library can dp.
I saw this example :
http://files.slembcke.net/chipmunk/movies/machine.mov
and thought it would embody everything that this library can do but i can't find any examples of each part for me to work from.
would anybody be able to assist me? is there source related to this video available?
Thanks again..
Eaymon

Re: issues understanding the library
I don't really understand your problem.
Have you tryed the demos provided with the sources?
Do you encounter problem when trying to compile these demos? (if yes, what is the error message?)
and the moon buggy provided in a separate package?
Also you can't apply forces to static objects, because static objects are static (like the ground, walls that you can't break, etc)

I think the question is about the "trampoline" in that video that bounces balls upwards. I don't think slembcke released the source to that, but I remember him saying that it was something to do with setting the velocity of the static object but keeping it from moving.
