I migrated Chipmunk a while ago to Actionscript 3. Since then its become its own project, even been ported twice to other languages. Many things have changed but at its core the physics are still very much Chipmunk. I made a few recent changes and successfully implemented sleeping into the engine - large numbers of bodies settle to almost 0% cpu usage. The code will be up on http://code.google.com/p/glaze/. Scott, do you want me to make a detailed list on what it took? Maybe somebody wants to port it back...
