Re: Chipmunk 6.0.1 and new example content!
I'm running a woefully out of date ubuntu 10.10 netbook on an asus eee. It's an intel atom with who knows what embedded graphics.
Didn't know about the dynamic linking thing. Grabbed the release tarball first, but now am using the github repo. Had the same problem with the demo from both sources. Ran "cmake ." in the root of the directories, then ran make. It built both versions (static and dynamic).
Really ought to try the demos when I'm more up to date. I keep putting off upgrading my netbook since I have a ton of pictures and the upgrade procedure is a nightmare. I did already my back up, though. So it really is sheer laziness.

Hmm. Can't reproduce the issue under Ubuntu 11.whatever_version_I_have. Not sure what to tell you. :-\

Yeah, not worried about it. Just compiled on the latest ubuntu on my desktop and the demos work great, so it's something screwy on the netbook.
Thanks for you time.
Also, chipmunk is awesome so far, can't wait to actually write a game with it.

Re: Chipmunk 6.0.1 and new example content!
I just downloaded the latest (6.0.2), and still quite a few files are missing (using windows visual studio project).
For example: drawSpace.c
Will those files be added? Or are they outdated, still using the <6 API and thats why they are not included?

Hmm. Are you using the '09 or '10 version of MSVC? I can only update the '10 version. The files are all there, just some of the names changed, and there are some new ones.

Re: Chipmunk 6.0.1 and new example content!
Using VC 2010 Express to open: \msvc\vc10\chipmunk.sln
Project named "demo" is refering to drawSpace.c, Simple.c, Sensors.c and other missing files.
I looked and searched in all folderds, those files do not exist. I unpacked the file using 7Zip.
The same happens with VC 2010 Professional.
But if you say the files are there but their names changed, this means the project files are out of date?
I tried to drag all those files form \Demo into the project but getting lots of unknowns and duplicates and errors.
One file does not know sprintf (stdio is not included), one uses "count" for an array and this seems nowhere defined.
At least the version I downloaded does not work for me.
I am happy to help, but I do now know what belongs together. Putting it all in one project I get many duplicated functions.

Oh, you should get 6.0.2 (the latest version). The project file was broken in 6.0.0 and 6.0.1. Too many build systems to maintain. :-\

Hi slembcke, I am using 6.0.2 (you missed that).
So for me it seems the project files are still broken.

Re: Chipmunk 6.0.1 and new example content!
Oh, I guess I was looking at the thread name. My bad.
So I pulled out my netbook and tried building it under MSVC `10. Worked fine... Then I saw that I had never actually pushed the project file fixes to git... -_- So if you get the latest from GitHub it will work now. Sorry about all the confusion.

No problem, I have to thank you for all the great work.
Just hope I will once earn enough to drop you a nice donation.
