Lateral (drift) adjustment for top down vehicle...
I'm working on a top down hovercraft racing project with a friend, and I have everything working as intended except for a steering "drift" function. In other words, when a vehicle rotates, we want to be able to adjust the length of time it takes for it to travel along the new rotation vector and stop sliding along the old velocity vector. I'm using the linear damping example from the documentation, and it works great for damping in all directions, but is there a way I can achieve this effect on just side to side movement? Thanks for any help!
