I am new to iPhone programming and am trying to develop a basketball game where I try to swipe a ball into the basketball hoop. I have managed to create a ball sprite and move it in a line. I believe I can use chipmunk to assign velocity and gravity to sprites and simulate the throwing(bending) of the basketball. I dont mind having a constant velocity just interested in achieving the motion.
But I dont know where to start. Can someone please help me with this. Also if there are any links, tutorials that will help me achieve what I want please let me know.

Re: Simulating a ball throw motion
Looking at the demos that come with Chipmunk are a good place to start.
Can't sleep... Chipmunks will eat me...
