I'm thinking of adapting an application to chipmunk, and so far I'm amazed at how straightforward it is.
However, I've been running into a problem. Is there a way to create flexible pin joints/springs that break when too much force is applied in chipmunk? Additionally, will I be able to simulate collisions of rigid bodies with these joints? Is there a way to change slide joints' behaviour in that way?
I've done some google research and cpDampedSpring seems to be a step in the right direction, but not exactly what I need.
The current implementation I'm using is good for flexible joints, but handles collisions between joints and rigid bodies very poorly.
Any thoughts?
