I've been working with chipmunk pro for a couple of months, finally I've stumbled into something I simply can't solve.
I'm setting the gravity of the space to cpv(0,-600), after that I apply a force of cpv(0,600) to an object. My intention is to make the object simply negate the gravity, but this doesn't happen, it drops to the ground like a turkey from the eiffel tower.
However if I set the force to something extreme like cpv(0,9000000) then it floats upwards correctly.
Does anyone have any clue what might be doing this? it is the only force I apply to it, and it is not influenced by any constraints.
For some strange reason cpv(0,180000) seems to negate a gravity of cpv(0,-600).
Thank you for reading,

Re: Inverse force of gravity isn't enough
disregard this question... apparently it needs to be mass*gravity*-1 to negate the actual force of gravity.
